Tips for Making This Pantry Smoothie
I consider this a “pantry meal” because it uses all shelf-stable, long-lasting ingredients. However, feel free to swap out any of the powders for their fresh alternatives. 🙂
We purchase all of our smoothie powders from ZNaturalFoods:

Sometimes, the chia seed can cause a weird texture that is unappetizing, but it usually isn’t an issue. If the smoothie has a thicker, gummier texture, it’s the chia seeds, so you can just eliminate those if you like.
If you grind the chia seeds first, it’s much better. I usually grind enough to fill a pint jar. You don’t want to grind too much at one time because ground chia seed (or chia powder) doesn’t last as long as whole chia seed.
