No prior experience is needed. The class is designed for beginners as well as those looking to refresh their skills.
You will have access to this online class for as long as the class exists. (We have no plans to discontinue it.)
You can learn now—and gather supplies as you're able. Whenever you're ready:
For water bath canning you'll want canning jars, lids, rings, a large pot with a lid, a rack, and basic kitchen utensils.
For pressure canning you'll want a pressure canner, canning jars, lids, rings, and basic kitchen utensils.
A steam canner is optional.
