Tender chicken breasts are stuffed with crispy bacon and melted cheddar cheese, then baked to perfection for a mouthwatering meal that’s sure to satisfy.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked until crispy and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place each chicken breast on a cutting board and make several evenly spaced cuts across the top of each breast, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  3. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  4. Stuff each cut of chicken with crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, and dried thyme.
  6. Brush the seasoned oil mixture over the tops of the stuffed chicken breasts.
  7. Place the chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
