- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 8 ounces cooked pasta or roasted vegetables
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook until golden brown on both sides and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Let it simmer for 2 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the chicken.
- Serve the creamy garlic Parmesan chicken over cooked pasta or roasted vegetables. Garnish with additional Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley if desired.
