Ingredients
Scale
- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 8 oz brie cheese, cut into small cubes
- 1/3 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or canned)
- 2 tablespoons honey
- Fresh rosemary or thyme for garnish (optional)
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F and lightly grease a mini muffin tin.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Cut into 24 squares, approximately 2 inches each.
- Press each pastry square gently into the muffin tin cups, creating a small cup shape. The corners will stick up a bit, which looks charming once baked.
- Place a cube of brie in the center of each pastry cup. Add about 1/2 teaspoon of cranberry sauce on top of the cheese.
- Brush the exposed pastry edges with the beaten egg. This gives them that gorgeous golden color.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes, until the pastry is puffed and golden brown. The cheese should be melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 2-3 minutes. They’ll be extremely hot, so resist the urge to pop one in your mouth immediately.
- Carefully transfer to a serving platter. Drizzle with honey and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
- Serve warm and watch them vanish.
