This Christmas Wreath Charcuterie Board transforms a regular meat and cheese spread into a festive holiday centerpiece!

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: Serves 8-12 people 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large round serving board or platter
  • 8 oz Brie or Camembert cheese
  • 8 oz aged cheddar, cubed
  • 6 oz gouda, sliced
  • 8 oz assorted cured meats (prosciutto, salami, etc.)
  • 1 cup green grapes
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 cup pistachios, shelled
  • 1/2 cup mixed olives
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs (5-6)
  • Fresh thyme sprigs (3-4)
  • 1/4 cup honey, for serving
  • 1/4 cup fig jam, for serving
  • Assorted crackers and breadsticks

Instructions

  1. Start by placing a small bowl in the center of your round board. This creates the “hole” in your wreath.
  2. Arrange the larger cheese pieces (like Brie or Camembert) around the board at equal distances. These will serve as anchors for your design.
  3. Fill in spaces between cheeses with rolled or folded cured meats. Create height and texture by folding prosciutto into waves and rolling salami slices.
  4. Add clusters of red fruits (raspberries and cranberries) around the board to create pops of Christmas red.
  5. Place green grapes and pistachios strategically to add the complementary Christmas green color.
  6. Tuck rosemary and thyme sprigs around the outer edge of the board to mimic wreath greenery. The herbs also add a wonderful aroma.
  7. Fill remaining spaces with olives, additional cheese cubes, and any extra meats until the board looks full and abundant.
  8. Place small bowls of honey and fig jam near the board for dipping and spreading.
  9. Arrange crackers and breadsticks either on the board (if space allows) or in separate containers nearby.
  10. For a finishing touch, you can add a small red ribbon bow at the “top” of your wreath for extra festive flair.
  11. The board can be prepared up to 4 hours ahead and kept refrigerated. Just remember to take it out about 30 minutes before serving so the cheeses can come to room temperature for the best flavor.
