Made with cream cheese, brown sugar, and caramel sauce, this smooth and rich dip comes together in just 10 minutes on the stovetop!

  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: Serves 8-10 people 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • ½ cup packed light brown sugar
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 6-8 medium apples (Honeycrisp, Granny Smith, or Gala work well)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • ½ cup chopped toasted pecans or walnuts (optional)
  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut apples into thin wedges and place in a large bowl. Toss with lemon juice to prevent browning and arrange on a serving platter.
  2. In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, combine brown sugar, heavy cream, and butter. Stir constantly until the mixture is smooth and begins to bubble gently.
  3. Add the softened cream cheese to the saucepan. Whisk continuously until completely smooth and no lumps remain, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt. The mixture should be smooth and creamy.
  5. Gradually whisk in the caramel sauce until fully incorporated. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  6. Transfer the warm dip to a serving bowl. If desired, sprinkle chopped nuts and mini chocolate chips over the top for extra texture and flavor.
  7. Serve immediately while warm with the prepared apple slices. The dip can be enjoyed warm or at room temperature.
