This Candy Cane Charcuterie Board is a festive holiday appetizer that arranges red and white foods in the shape of a candy cane!

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: Serves 8-12 people 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 8 oz raspberries
  • 6 oz pomegranate arils
  • 8 oz cherry tomatoes
  • 8 oz mini pepperoni or salami rounds
  • 8 oz cubed pepper jack cheese
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella balls
  • 8 oz white cheddar cubes
  • 6 oz white chocolate pretzels
  • 8 oz yogurt-covered raisins
  • 6 oz white chocolate-covered almonds
  • 8 oz coconut date rolls
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish
  • Optional: candy canes for decoration

Instructions

  1. Start with a large rectangular serving board or tray covered with parchment paper.
  2. Sketch a loose candy cane shape on the parchment with pencil as your guide (you’ll remove the paper before serving).
  3. Begin laying out red ingredients (strawberries, raspberries, pomegranate, tomatoes, and pepperoni) in thick stripes forming the red parts of the candy cane.
  4. Alternate with white ingredients (cheeses, white chocolate items, and coconut date rolls) to create the white stripes.
  5. Keep the outer edge of the candy cane clean and defined, working from the outside inward.
  6. Fill any gaps with smaller items like yogurt-covered raisins or pomegranate arils.
  7. Add small sprigs of rosemary around the outside edge to mimic pine needles.
  8. For extra flair, place a few real candy canes around your board or use them as serving utensils by breaking off the curved end.
  9. Remove the parchment paper guide gently before serving.
  10. Place small serving spoons or toothpicks nearby for easy serving.
